How does our system of reservation work?

Watch delivery

At BREVA GENEVE, we produce every watch on demand only. We are a small independent bran and therefore, depending on the demand we face, the waiting time to produce your ordered timepiece may vary. Yet, we are committed to transparency and straightforward communications with our collectors. Right after receiving your order confirmation, we will, within a few weeks, be able to provide you with a scheduled production month. We will then keep you updated quarterly. As soon as we are meeting your production month, our team will inform you about your exact manufacturing week. They will also inform you when your watch is in its final assembly stage. Currently, we would need approximately 12 months to craft this model.

Place your order

Most of our timepieces are made on request. This means that there will be a waiting time between the moment you order your watch and the time we will deliver it, as we must manufacture it first. Therefore, to confirm your order, a deposit representing approximately 40% of the final price is required to confirm your interest.

As soon as your deposit is executed, we will send you an advance payment receipt and an order confirmation. It is your responsibility to review the order confirmation. If you have any questions or concerns or if an order confirmation does not reflect your intentions, you should contact us at customercare@breva-watches.com without delay. Within 7 months of the Order Confirmation Date and at least 6 months before your manufacturing date we will inform you about the tentative manufacturing date that we have allocated to your order.

Your manufacturing date is the date we proceed to the final encasing of your watch. It will be stated in your timepiece passport (the ID card for a watch, to prove its authenticity, record services and repairs but serves also as a warranty card). Once this operation is completed, your watch will be tested for a couple of weeks. Therefore, you can expect a delivery 3 to 4 weeks after your manufacturing date.

Should you change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days, we will refund the full amount.

If you decide to cancel your order later, part of your deposit will no longer be refundable according to the following scale:

  • After 14 days, your deposit minus 10% and inherent banking fees is refunded,
  • 6 months before your manufacturing date: 50% of your deposit minus inherent banking fees is refunded,
  • 3 months before your manufacturing date: your deposit is forfeited.

To cancel your order, you must contact us at customercare@breva-watches.com.

10 days before your watch delivery, we will send you your final invoice and ask you to proceed with the payment.

We try our best to respect your manufacturing date but delays sometimes occur due to circumstances outside our control. A delay of 6 months or more with respect to the tentative manufacturing date does not entitle to a refund without penalty. Should you request a cancellation during this period, the full deposit minus 10% banking fees will be refunded.

Product availability and order acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of serious doubts about the customer’s compliance with these terms and conditions or in case of arrears. All orders placed are subject to availability and acceptance of such orders by us. Quantity limits may apply in relation to orders for certain products. We reserve the right to refuse at any moment in time, without prior notice, orders exceeding a certain number of authorized products.

Price, return and tax policy

All prices displayed on this website, in any BREVA GENEVE documents or in any communication support (email, whatsapp messages, phone) are not contractual and can be modified at any time. Only quotes or order acknowledgements (order confirmation) issued by BREVA GENEVE are contractual. The relevant prices are our international prices in CHF and do not include any taxes.

Please note that changes to applicable law between the date your order is placed and the date you are sent a written quote or an order confirmation may result in changes to the taxes associated with your order. If the resulting change is an increase in the taxes that you are charged, we will contact you and ask that you to reconfirm your order.

In case your purchase is delivered in another country than Switzerland, you might be requested by your country’s customs authorities to pay local VAT or/and other taxes before delivery can occur. This is usually collected by our carrier during the importation process but also by your country authorities.

For US customers, an additional 3% is added to the total amount to cover the cost for US importation duties, directly paid by BREVA GENEVE.

8.1% Swiss VAT is applied and added to all purchases made in Switzerland.

If you are not a Swiss resident and are buying / picking up your purchase in Switzerland, you can claim for a full VAT refund on leaving the country. This tax refund will be made by BREVA GENEVE only after Swiss customs have checked, approved and returned to BREVA GENEVE your tax refund documents. Failure to comply with this process will result in the loss of your tax refund rights.

The declaration of your purchases made in Switzerland to your country of residence customs authorities is your sole responsibility.

In order to organize delivery, we will contact you as soon as your watch is ready. All orders are available for shipping almost worldwide:

You also have the option of picking up your timepiece in Switzerland with our CEO or in Chronode manufacture in Le Locle.

Shipping costs and insurances in relation with a watch purchase are included in the final price stated in your quote or order confirmation, (this excludes all services, accessories or repairs not covered by our international warranty).
